Stacy is the “wicked stepmother” to three fabulous young adults: Clayton, a physician specializing in LGBTQ adolescent psychiatry who lives with his husband Roger in Chattanooga,TN; Molly, a recent college graduate who also recently got engaged to her fiancé Nkai, and who works in healthcare advocacy in Memphis; and Summer, also in Memphis and a newly-wed to her wife Rose! Stacy’s late husband, Kevin Gallagher, worked in progressive politics and as an architectural blacksmith, and died in 2020 after a five-year duel with brain cancer. Her mom Kathy lives in Georgia and is regular participant in our online worship.

Stacy is an active associate member of the Iona Community in Scotland and specializes in Iona style music and worship leadership. She loves to travel and is planning to check South Africa and Turkey off her bucket list in 2025. She has been skydiving, canyoning, hang gliding, and managed to survive a via ferrata on the Hammer’s Edge in Switzerland. She also enjoys history podcasts, singing too loud to Gen X radio, taking the train to New York City to see good theater, and performing as "Father Stacy," her stand-up alter ego.
