Food Distribution Ministry
Fanwood Church distributes food on the third Saturdays of the month in the church parking lot from 9-11 AM.
We have provided groceries to the hungry since 1971, when the program began as a cupboard through which food was delivered to the needy. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the food distribution ministry has almost doubled to more than 75 families, mostly from the Plainfield area. ​
Food (non perishables only) can be dropped off and placed in the black donation bin located in the FPC parking lot.
Checks can also be made out to Fanwood Presbyterian Church and are tax deductible (enter Food Bank on the memo line). They can be sent to Fanwood Presbyterian Church, c/o Food Bank, 74 S Martine Ave, Fanwood, NJ 07023.
