"Stretching Hands, Minds, and Hearts for Mission"
Presbyterian Women is open to all women in the church: we encourage each woman to take part actively in what ever is of interest to her and SUPPORTS OUR ON-GOING EFFORTS.
Circles are small groups of women who meet regularly for fellowship, service and Bible study. Circles are open to all women and new members are welcome. Please contact the leader of the Circle that fits your schedule.
- Deborah's Circle - meets at 7:30 p.m. on the third Monday of each month. Women of the Bible is the study for this year.
- Priscilla's Circle meets at 9:15 a.m. on the second Thursday of each month.
- Rachel's Circle meets at 8 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday in September, November, January, March and May.
Needle Nite meets on the first Friday of each month except July, in Westminster Hall at 7:30 p.m.
Our quilters work on a new pattern each year. Knitters and Crocheters continue to work on individual items that will be donated to new born babies, for Seafarers and to nursing homes.
We learn and support each other in acquiring new and rewarding needlecraft skills. Donated materials and new project ideas are greatly appreciated.
All are welcome to come and see what is being done and or to join the group. If interested, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or just show up.
Book Discussion Group
A book discussion group meets on the 2nd Friday of every other month at a member's home. A wide variety of books are read and discussed. The book for September is "The Dove Keepers" by Alice Hoffman. New members are always welcome.
